Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, coach of the Brazilian national team, has decided to exclude Real Madrid players from the September international camp.
The Brazilian national team is preparing to face Chile and Bolivia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers during the September international break.
Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Ancelotti did not include any of Real Madrid’s four Brazilian players: Rodrigo, Vinicius, Eder Militao and Endric.
The newspaper points out that the absence of the quartet was expected given that Brazil had already qualified for the World Cup, which means that Ancelotti prefers to rely on young elements from the local tournament in Brazil.
Certainly, Xabi Alonso will be happy to exclude his players, given that Brazil will play at home against the Bolivia national team in difficult conditions linked to the height of the stadium above sea level, which makes breathing difficult and increases the rate of physical effort exerted.
The report stated that Neymar was the most important absentee from the international list announced by coach Ancelotti.
The Italian coach explained the reason for the veteran star’s absence, saying: “Neymar was suffering from a minor injury and we don’t need to test him.”
He added: “We all know Neymar, and like any player, he has to be in good physical condition to be part of the national team. »
